The Dolomites, a jewel among the Italian Alps.

We will deal with very famous Passes:Passo Pordoi, Passo Gardena, Passo Sella and Passo di Campolongo, Passo San Pellegrino, Passo Giau and many more.

We will ride in an unforgettable, unique mountain scenery, we will stay in enchanting accommodation and delicious dinner will allow us to get in touch with local culture.

We can therefore expect a week which is demanding but extremely rewarding and Sicily Cycling Tours will make this trip accessible to all participants, thanks to the constant presence of the minibus and technical guidance throughout.


A week of high mountains and their great Alpine passes where Giro d’Italia legends were born.

DAY 1

Welcome day

Transfer from Trento station to Borgo Valsugana.
Welcome from the staff and bike tour presentation.Dinner based on local produce and excellent wine from Trentino

DAY 2

Passo Manghen 
 

From Borgo Valsugana begins one of the most important Dolomite passes of the Giro d'Italia.

This climb is 23.5 km long with a vertical drop of 1629 m. With an average gradient of 7% and a maximum of 15%.

After this long climb, a funny descent into Val di Fiemme an "aperitivo" wil be waiting for us.

DAY 3

Sella Ronda 
 

Today we need an energetic breakfast, this is "Sella Ronda Day".

Famous all over the world, Passo Gardena, Passo Campolongo, Passo Pordoi, Passo Sella are four steps for a difference in altitude of 1950 m.

Heroic climbs of the Giro d'Italia

Finish this important ride will be a great emotion.
Overnight in Canazei

DAY 4

San Pellegrino Pass 

 

Today a less difficult ride but always surrounded by mountains and wonderful scenery. The San Pellegrino Valley with its pass.

Now we are in the Veneto region. This climb is 12 km long with a drop of 778 m. and an average gradient of 6.8%.

 

End this important ride will be a great emotion.

DAY 5

Passo Giau-Passo Falzarego 

An other epic day.Today we deal with Passo Giau and Passo Falzarego.The first, Passo Giau, is 10,5 km long with an average gradient of 9.1%.Riding on this pass we have to save some energy for the next: Passo Falzarego.Less demanding this pass opens us the door of extraordinary Val Badia, the valley of Ladins.Corvara will be our final destination.

DAY 6

Passo delle Erbe - Bressanone

 

The last stop on this tour. The Passo delle Erbe is a passage divided into three parts.

 - The first: 6 km really demanding with an average gradient of 8%, maximum of 15%.

 - The second: 3 km of descent where we can recover energy.

 - The third: 6 km less demanding that take us to the top.

 

Here begins a fun descent, Bressanone is our ultimate goal.
