Terms & Conditions – Payments and Cancellations

 

 

Payments

• A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total trip price is required at the time of booking to secure services.

• The remaining balance (70%) must be paid no later than 60 days prior to departure.

• Bookings made within 60 days of departure require full payment at the time of reservation.

 

 

Cancellations by the Guest

All cancellations must be submitted in writing (email accepted). The following penalties apply:

 

• More than 90 days prior to departure: 30% deposit retained. Alternatively, agencies may elect to keep the deposit as a 100% travel credit, valid for 18 months from the original departure date.

• 90–60 days prior to departure: 25% of the total trip price.

• 60–30 days prior to departure: 50% of the total trip price.

• 30–0 days prior to departure: 100% of the total trip price.

 

Non-Refundable Services

 

Certain services (including but not limited to domestic ferries, and boutique accommodations with strict cancellation policies) may be non-refundable or subject to different cancellation terms imposed by the service provider. These will be communicated at the time of booking and will prevail over the general conditions listed above.

 

 

Cancellations or Changes by the Operator

 

In the unlikely event that Sicily Cycling Tours must cancel or significantly alter a trip, guests will be offered the choice of:

 

• A full refund of all monies paid, or

• A travel credit equal to the full value paid, to be used on a future trip within 24 months.

 

 

Travel Insurance

 

Guests are strongly advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance, including trip cancellation, interruption, medical, and baggage coverage. Sicily Cycling Tours will not be held responsible for losses resulting from situations outside our control.
