BOOKING & PAYMENT TERMS
SICILY CYCLING TOURS
Booking & Deposit
A deposit of 40% of the total tour price is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
Your booking is considered confirmed once the deposit has been received by Sicily Cycling Tours and written confirmation has been issued.
For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Different payment conditions may apply to private, tailor-made or specially arranged tours. Where applicable, these will be clearly stated in your individual quotation or booking confirmation.
Final Payment
The remaining balance of 60% must be paid no later than 30 days before the tour start date.
If the final balance is not received by the due date, Sicily Cycling Tours reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled, subject to the cancellation conditions below.
Payment Methods
All prices are quoted and payable in Euros (€).
Payments are accepted by bank wire transfer only. Bank details and payment instructions will be provided at the time of booking.
Any bank charges, international transfer fees, intermediary bank fees or currency exchange costs are the responsibility of the client. The full invoiced amount must be received by Sicily Cycling Tours.
Cancellation by the Client
All cancellations must be communicated to Sicily Cycling Tours in writing.
The following cancellation conditions apply:
More than 90 days before departure:
Amounts paid will be refunded, less a €250 administration fee per booking and any non-refundable costs already incurred on behalf of the client.
90 to 61 days before departure:
40% of the total tour price.
60 to 31 days before departure:
50% of the total tour price.
30 days or less before departure:
100% of the total tour price.
Any non-refundable payments already made to hotels or other third-party service providers may also be deducted from any applicable refund.
Once the tour has started, no refunds will be provided for unused services, late arrival, early departure or voluntary withdrawal from the tour.
We strongly recommend that guests obtain appropriate travel insurance covering trip cancellation and interruption.
Changes to the Itinerary
Occasionally, circumstances may require us to make changes to a planned itinerary.
Sicily Cycling Tours reserves the right to make reasonable changes to cycling routes, accommodations, activities, transfers or other services where necessary for safety, operational or logistical reasons, or due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where changes are necessary, we will always make reasonable efforts to provide suitable alternatives and maintain the overall quality and character of the experience.
Cancellations or Changes by Sicily Cycling Tours
In the unlikely event that Sicily Cycling Tours needs to make a significant change to or cancel a tour, we will contact affected guests as soon as reasonably possible.
Where possible, we will offer an appropriate alternative arrangement, alternative dates, travel credit or refund, depending on the circumstances and in accordance with applicable law.
Sicily Cycling Tours is not responsible for additional expenses incurred by guests as a result of changes or cancellations outside the services included in their booking, such as international flights or independently booked accommodation.
Changes Requested by the Client
Requests to change travel dates, accommodations or other confirmed services will be considered based on availability.
Where changes can be accommodated, any additional costs or non-refundable charges incurred as a result of the requested changes will be the responsibility of the client.
Circumstances Beyond Our Control
Sicily Cycling Tours cannot be held responsible for events or circumstances outside our reasonable control that may affect the operation of a tour.
These may include, but are not limited to, severe weather, natural events, wildfires, road closures, strikes, transportation disruptions, public health emergencies, government restrictions or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
Where such circumstances arise, we will make reasonable efforts to adapt the itinerary or provide suitable alternatives whenever possible.
Any applicable cancellation or refund rights will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance appropriate to the type of cycling holiday booked.
Guests should ensure that their policy provides suitable coverage for medical expenses, cycling activities, personal belongings, trip cancellation and trip interruption.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Italian law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to limit any mandatory rights available to guests under applicable law.
